In this project five different patterns were asked to be designed for covering a bus station which could be located in diverse cities in Booshehr province. The main characteristic of designed patterns is their lightness. Not only do the structural systems seem to be lighter than conventional frames used to cover similar stations, but they also can make the viewers experience the lightness of covered space. The soft sunlight that passes through the semi-transparent cladding of the membrane or space grid structures lets people to stay in their rows comfortably for some moments before getting into buses. Moreover, possibility of dismantling, ease of construction and transportation of structural elements were also considered.
