The sports hall should meet the standards of handball, indoor soccer, volleyball and basketball. No seats for fans and spectators were required. Official spaces, training classrooms and other common facilities and utilities were asked to be designed. It was strictly requested to avoid conventional rigid frame as the structural system of the building. The structural system should be innovative and precisely modeled. It was appreciated to present a structural system to be flexible enough for future development.
